ATTENDEE ETIQUETTE & GUIDELINES

Here are guidelines for how you show up and make the most of the event while respecting your fellow participants the Time, Money & Happiness Matters Team.

STAYING ON SCHEDULE: Reminder that this is not a regular virtual event, webinar or tele-summit. This is a live virtual experience, and for you to get maximum Return on Investment of your time and money (plus support your fellow participants) you need to be with us in order to make the most of it! YOU are an important part of the experience. Now, more than ever before, we are counting on you to be present. There are no immediate replays, so make sure you block the time on your calendar, and join us for all sessions over the course of these 3 days as the sessions build on each other.

WEBCAM ETIQUETTE:With most virtual events, video is one-way. This makes it harder for the host, as well as other attendees. We ask that you enable your webcam during this event, as your speakers will be able to see you, and feel your energy, making these three days one of the most fun and valuable virtual experiences you’ve EVER been a part of. PS – Be aware of your surroundings (for example, if you need to use the restroom during the live sessions, and you take your computer with you so you can still hear us, be sure to turn off your audio and video.) 😉

BEING PRESENT: Really “listen” to the speakers: Being present is the best gift you can give yourself! Resist the urge to take tons of notes (versus listening for and capturing big takeaways), keep your phones on do not disturb and turn your email notifications off to minimize distractions. If you have children, set up a play area where you can keep an eye on them while they are self-entertaining.

YOUR BEST YOU: Listen to your body: be your best self: reduce alcohol consumption in the evenings so you get restful sleep. Eat healthy and stay hydrated and caffeinated!  Plan ahead to have snacks on hand.

NETWORKING: Take the time during networking breaks and breakouts to connect with fellow attendees.

PEER-TO-PEER INTERACTION MATTERS!  We have scheduled break times and meal times, with time dedicated to structured interaction with your fellow students, peers and our team.  Please commit to supporting your fellow attendees.

CLARITY: Less clutter, more clarity. We believe the less clutter, the easier it is to learn. Keep your workspace tidy and comfortable. It’s especially important right now to wash your hands regularly and keep your work area disinfected.

FUN AND PRIZES: Before and throughout the event, you’ll have the opportunity to earn points to be eligible to win prizes, gift cards, and even cash.  The leaderboard in the portal will be going live on June 24 as soon as you register for the event, so stay tuned.

TO BE EARLY IS TO BE ON TIME.  Each day, we encourage you to arrive 15 minutes early for “door opening”! Join us in our virtual ballroom for networking, special announcements and getting in the right headspace for the day ahead.

VIP UPGRADE:  If you want to get the VIP All Access Pass, there is still time. VIP access is the only way to get recordings of the event after they are ready (allow up to 60 days for editing).  You can upgrade for $197 – check it out here (and link to your VIP page that you are building).

And lastly….

SUPPORT & QUESTIONS: There will be an opportunity to post questions for Jennifer and the team in the live chat during all the sessions. Post your questions succinctly, including only the relevant details to get the best possible answer.

WE COMMIT TO DOING OUR BEST:  Keep in mind that when Jennifer and her team are in session, we will do our best to monitor the chat box and the event Facebook Group.  But if we miss something, it’s not intentional.  Running an event takes a lot of energy and team to keep things running.  Please be patient with us and if you have any issues, please come to us from a place of knowing that we are doing our best to serve everyone as best we can.

You can use the Help Desk button at the top of the Dashboard.
